Privacy Policy
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to our three apps:
- CATS_UP (3,6,9) — Socratic learning through questions
- BBQ_e=(3,6,9) — Honest mobile security
- RELISH (3,6,9) — Emotional clarity in maximum 3 sentences
We collect minimal data, store it securely, and never sell it. This policy is consistent across all platforms where these apps are available and is written to meet Apple App Store guidelines.
Third-Party Services
CATSUP and RELISH — Anthropic Claude API
CATSUP and RELISH use Anthropic's Claude API (api.anthropic.com) to generate responses to what you type.
Your typed questions or messages and conversation context are sent in real time to Anthropic:
- CATSUP: Socratic questions only (never direct answers)
- RELISH: Compressed emotional clarity (max 3 sentences)
We retain this data only for the current session unless you enable local progress/history, which is stored only on your device.
We share only the minimum data required to provide responses. We do not give Anthropic permission to use your data to train their models. However, Anthropic's own terms and privacy practices apply to their systems; please review them for details.

By using the chat features in CATSUP or RELISH, you consent to this limited sharing.
BBQE — RapidAPI Breach Checks (Pit Boss tier only)
BBQE uses RapidAPI to perform breach checks for the Pit Boss tier.
Your email address is sent to breachdirectory.p.rapidapi.com only when you explicitly request a breach check. We do not store your email for any other purpose.

By using the breach checker, you consent to this limited sharing.
On-Device-Only Features
All other features — link/Wi-Fi scanning, local analysis, and progress tracking — are performed entirely on your device with no external sharing.

- Time spent in the app
- Optional local progress tracking (stored on device)
BBQ_e=(3,6,9)
- URLs / Wi-Fi names you enter (analyzed locally)
- Email address (only when you request a breach check)
RELISH (3,6,9)
- Messages about feelings
- Optional local chat history (if you enable it)
All apps
- A random, app-specific identifier used only to manage things like free question limits and subscriptions. This identifier is not your Apple ID and is not used to track you across other apps or services.
- iOS version and basic device information
- Anonymous crash reports and diagnostics to help fix bugs
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to:
- Provide the core features (Socratic guidance, security checks, emotional clarity)
- Fix bugs and improve performance
- Respond to support requests and technical issues
We never:
- Sell your data
- Share it with third parties for advertising
- Use it to build advertising profiles
- Track you across other apps or websites
Data Storage & Security
- Most data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
- When cloud storage or processing is required, we use encrypted servers (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit).
- Access to any backend data is restricted to the 3.6.NIFE engineering team on a need-to-know basis.
- If you request deletion of data that we control on our servers, we delete it within 30 days.
Breach Notification
If we ever experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, via in-app notification and/or the email address associated with your account. We will describe what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we are taking to resolve it.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are rated 4+ and are designed with children's privacy in mind. We follow Apple's child-directed app rules:
- We minimize data collection from children.
- We do not use data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.
- If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child beyond what is necessary to operate the app, we will delete it as quickly as possible.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access and review the data we have about you
- Request a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of data we control
To exercise these rights, email 36Nife@gmail.com from the email address associated with your use of the app, and include any relevant details (such as the in-app identifier, if shown). We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top, and
- Notify you in-app and/or via other reasonable means.
Continuing to use the apps after changes go into effect means you accept the revised policy.

How it works: We ask questions back so you build real understanding. We never give direct answers.
Common questions
- Why no answers? → Real learning requires thinking. We guide you.
- Parent dashboard? → Shows progress, topics, and reasoning (local only).
- Track progress? → Dashboard shows questions answered, time spent, proficiency levels (device only).
Technical issues
- Progress not loading → Restart app, check connection.
- Delete account → Email "Delete Account" + your email address. Data removed within 30 days.
BBQ_e=(3,6,9) — Safety & Security
How it works: Honest checks for phishing, suspicious networks, and breaches (Pit Boss tier).
Common questions
- Link scanner → Checks URLs locally for threats.
- WiFi analyzer → Analyzes network name/encryption locally (Premium).
- Breach check → Email sent to RapidAPI only when requested (Pit Boss).
Technical issues
- Slow scan → Normal for larger networks.
- Cancel subscription → Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → BBQE.
RELISH (3,6,9) — Feelings
How it works: Open, succinct emotional clarity — maximum 3 sentences per response.
Common questions
- Why only 3 sentences? → Brevity creates clarity.
- Chat history? → Local only if enabled.
- Delete history → Settings → Clear History.
Technical issues
- Not responding → Restart app, check connection.
- Delete account → Email "Delete Account" + your email address. Data removed within 30 days.

- Screenshot if helpful
Account & Billing
- Password reset → Email us your account email.
- Billing issues / refunds → Contact Apple (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions).
- Cancel subscription → Apple Settings.
